Bailey in Germantown, TN

Just Adopted!

Here is Bailey with his new family...

Bailey, the Love Bug -- happy, easy-going, always ready to play or cuddle. Bailey is a gentle soul who loves every person and animal he meets. When he first came to his foster home, he immediately “kissed” his new foster brother (who had been rescued from Cavalier Rescue USA in November) and they became best friends.

Bailey loves long walks and taking naps wherever his foster mom or brother happen to be. If he wakes up, he will search the house to find his foster mom or brother. He does not jump on the furniture (even though he is welcome to do so at his foster home). At the beginning, he woke up very early, and after going outside, his foster mom put him on the bed with his foster brother so everyone can nap at least until daylight!

Only 7 1/2, he came to foster with an ear infection that affects his hearing. The vet believes he may regain his hearing once his ear infection is cleared. He had his teeth cleaned, had several teeth extracted (which don’t seem to bother him or his eating at all) and has been given a clean bill of health -- no heart murmur or other ailments. One of his favorite snacks is carrots!

Bailey is looking for a home where someone is around most of the time (someone who works from home or stays home a lot) and has older children(8 and up) who will be playing outside often. Bailey loves to run and play in the yard with older kids. Bailey came into rescue through no fault of his own. His owner developed severe allergies and was no longer able to keep him. He used to spend most of his time kenneled during the day, while his owners worked, so being able to move freely throughout his new home would be best. A fenced yard is a must and would let him run and play as much as he likes.

Although there is no cat in his foster home, he appears to be fine with the cat that wanders the neighborhood. He has met every one of the numerous dogs in the neighborhood and never growls at anyone. He wags his tail constantly, and is friendly with both pets and pet owners.

Bailey loves car rides and visiting friends, and has been an angel when visiting friends and family of his foster mom.

Bailey would make anyone happy and deserves a loving home where he can run and play. If you are interested in adding Bailey to your family, please complete an application and contact Liz Nigh at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
