Rosey in Virginia Beach, VA

Meet Rosey, the sweetest and most energetic girl! She’s an 8-year-old Ruby Cavalier who came to Cavalier Rescue USA from her family who had health issues.

It is clear she was well loved! She’s had lots of puppies and is going through some testing for her heart. She has a Grade 3 murmur and hypertension for which she is taking Pimobendan and Sildenafil. Rosey weighs 22 lbs, which is a good weight for her. 

She has lots of energy but is also very happy to get on your lap and take long naps. At night she is comfortable sleeping in her crate or on your bed. She does well around other dogs. With them, she is initially shy, but then she warms up and likes to hang out with them. That said, Rosey seems happiest with her humans and so we want to place her in a family where she’ll be the only dog.

Rosey’s potty habits are perfect! She will alert you when she needs to go by going and standing at the door. She walks well on a leash but does need to be watched as she is very interested in squirrels. She knows “sit” and “stay”. She is truly such a sweet and loving Cavalier.

For Rosey’s adoption, we are looking for someone who is home most of the time to give this precious pup lots of love and attention. She will also be happiest as the only dog in the family.
