Otis in Nashville, TN
Here is Otis with his new dads…
Look out, world—here comes Otis! Otis is a beautiful 5-month-old Cavalier who weighs just 10 pounds and was born on June 14th 2024. This spunky little fella embodies the true Cavalier temperament. He is sweet, has a big heart, and gets along great with everyone, from small children to other dogs in the house, making him the perfect companion for loving families of all shapes and sizes.
Otis loves to snuggle with his foster momma and is the perfect lapdog. But when it’s time to play, he’s ready to go with lots of energy! He’s a little shadow and will always be right under your feet, never too far away.
Otis has been thoroughly vetted, he came into the rescue with an ear infection that has since cleared up. He has been microchipped and is up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives so far. We are looking for a loving family to continue this vaccination schedule and give him all the love and attention his big heart needs.
His ideal new home would be with someone who is home most of the day, as he’s not a big fan of being left alone for long periods. He is great with small children and other dogs—the more love, the merrier!
He’s a clever little dog who is doing great with his potty training for his age and has picked it up very quickly. Finishing his training with his new family will be a breeze. He’s been working on his crate training; while he’s not a big fan just yet, he’s making progress, and with a little time and patience, he’ll master it. He’s also doing well on the leash with his foster family, only tugging occasionally, which is to be expected for a 5-month-old puppy. Otis loves car rides and always wants to be wherever you are!
