Meet Honey, a sweet and gentle soul with a silly streak! Honey is a healthy, six-month-old Cavalier born on 6/17/2024 who currently weighs about 8 pounds. She has a heart full of love and an endearing personality that’s starting to shine. Though initially timid, Honey has made incredible progress in her foster home, revealing herself as an affectionate and loving companion who adores attention, particularly belly rubs!

Honey has a silly and playful side that comes out when she feels comfortable. She loves discovering toys, spins when excited, and occasionally gets a case of the zoomies that will leave you laughing.

She is also a first-class cuddler. Her favorite moments are spent snuggled up with her humans. Honey is a true lapdog at heart, and nothing makes her happier than curling up beside you for quiet bonding time or a good nap.

While she’s still learning to navigate the world (vacuums and sudden noises are scary), Honey is gaining confidence every day. She is scared of leashes right now, so she’ll need adopters who have a fenced yard for those zoomies, and who are willing to help her gradually overcome this fear through patience and positive reinforcement.

Her ideal home is one with adults or children who understand her gentle nature. Honey is also open to sharing her space with another well-mannered dog who can show her the ropes. She is making good progress with house training but does best with a regular schedule.

Honey is in excellent health, up-to-date on vaccinations, and has been thoroughly vetted. She is looking for a family ready to continue her puppy vaccination schedule and provide the love, care, and attention she deserves.

Honey’s sweet and affectionate demeanor will steal your heart, and her silly antics will bring joy to your days. While she’s still a work in progress, with a little love and patience, Honey will thrive in her forever home.
