Honey in Castro Valley, CA

JUST ADOPTED!

Here is Honey with her new family…

Meet sweet Honey, aka Honeybun, Honeybunny or Bootylicious and Badonkadonk because she wiggles her whole backend when she’s happy! Honey is slightly hard of hearing and will answer to just about anything! This lovely Blenheim girl is 5 years old and was given to rescue by a breeder. She is a sturdy, healthy girl at her perfect weight of 19.5 pounds.

Honey’s favorite time of day is mealtime where she will “sing” & “dance” for her breakfast and dinner! She was a little bit hefty when she first came into rescue but we have given her measured amounts & limited treats to achieve her perfect weight. She is very food motivated & has been easy to train. She is house-trained with a dog door, if you don’t have one you will have to take her out every couple of hours until she understands your house rules.

Honey is a true Velcro Cavalier, she follows from room to room and wants to sit right beside you. She barks a bit in protest when left alone but settles down after a minute or two. She loves walks and is very good on a leash.

Honey was spayed & had a dental while in rescue, she is heart & otherwise a healthy girl. She happily hops in her crate at night with a treat but would love to snuggle in your big bed!

Honey dreams of a home with low to no alone time, so a retired or work from home family only. She needs a fenced back yard and a dog door would be great. No cats and only respectful children. She doesn’t know what cats are and since they run, she chases them.

If you need some extra sweetness in your life and can provide this girl with the home of her dreams please completely fill out an application if you haven’t already so we can get to know you better.
