Snoopy in Castro Valley, CA

Meet Snoopy, aka Snoop Dog! This charming, handsome, tricolor boy is 4.5 years old and healthy! His former family worked long hours away from home and realized Snoop needs a family that has more time for him.

Snoopy is heart and overall healthy. He has been neutered, his shots are up to date and he doesn’t need a dental. He is housetrained and consistently uses the dog door for his business in the back yard. He’s quiet, gentle and loves to snuggle! His coat is glossy and very soft.

He does have the bad habit of marking inside but the use of a belly band/male wrap is curbing that urge. Once he feels at home he should stop as there’s no medical reason, it’s just his insecurity. He also chewed inappropriate things in his previous home but that’s most likely from boredom and loneliness. It is something to watch for.

Snoopy loves walks but pulls a bit on a leash. Dedicated training will help this sweet boy be a wonderful little companion. He gets along with the cavaliers in his foster home and all dogs that he’s met. Cats should be ok since he grew up with a cat.

We will only consider a new home where you are retired or work from home so he has very low alone time. He needs a fenced yard and a dog door would be nice.
