Sven in Orangevale, CA

Meet cutie pie, 1 year old, Sven! He’s part a recent breeder release to Cavalier Rescue USA. Sven is everything you want in a classic Blenheim Cavalier: he’s sweet, snuggly and playful, he is heart clear and overall healthy, he was recently neutered and is up to date on all of his shots, and he’s house trained (but still needs to be encouraged to go out every couple of hours).

Sven is a very sweet boy who is looking for a forever family. He weighs 13 pounds and is full of adventure, energy and Cavalier curiosity. He loves to run around in the backyard, but make sure it’s secure because he can find the smallest escape route. 

He sleeps in a crate next to foster mom’s bed but would love to snuggle with his family on the big bed. He plays well with other dogs and really wants to be part of the pack. He got a good appetite and loves treats. He’s a bit shy with new people but warms up quickly.

Sven is looking for a lap to snuggle in. He needs an active family that will continue his training and take him for lots of walks. We think he would be a great family dog with older respectful children. He has not been cat tested. He would love to be a second dog in his new home to continue learning from. He needs a securely fenced back yard to curb his escape artist skills! You will need to live within a few hours drive to his location.
