Here is Robby with his new family…

Meet Robby! This handsome man was given to Cavalier Rescue USA when his mama developed health problems and could no longer take care of him. He arrived at his foster home with his tail wagging and it has never stopped! 

Robby is a 4-year-old Black and Tan Cavalier born on 9/20/2020. He loves to snuggle! He is on the smaller side at 14 lbs. and is the perfect lap pup! Robby loves to give kisses and cuddles 24/7. He is the velcro dog champion of the Midwest! 

Robby’s super power is that he doesn’t bark! He gives a little grumble when his foster brother tries to take his treat! He is the happiest little guy who sticks up for himself. 

Robby needs plenty of opportunities to fine tune his potty habits. His mother was too sick to walk him on a regular basis so he has been working on potty training since arriving at his foster home. He is eager to please, so positive reinforcement in the form of treats is essential! 

He potties first thing in the morning, eats breakfast around 7, potties again right after eating. During the day, Robby hangs out on the couch with his foster brothers, but prefers to be in your lap cuddling. Robby likes to press his sweet face against his person’s to show his affection. Dinner is Freshpet at 6 and a treat before bedtime.

He loves to play fetch with his mini ball and is very playful. Car rides are a favorite! He has not been crated and would very much like to sleep in the big comfy bed with his foster mom and 2 foster brothers. He would love to sleep in bed with his forever family! He also uses steps to get on the sofa and bed. 

Robbie is neutered and microchipped. Since coming to Cavalier Rescue USA, he has been brought up to date on his vaccines, had a dental cleaning, and is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
