Meet Kirby – Your New Best Friend!

Are you looking for a loving, affectionate, and playful puppy to join your family? Meet Kirby, an adorable 4-month-old Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is ready to find his forever home! At 16 pounds, Kirby is a big boy with an even bigger personality. His soft, gorgeous coat, cute little kiss spot on his head, and constantly wagging tail make him absolutely irresistible. He is a Velcro dog who wants to be by your side at all times, offering endless love and companionship.

Kirby is a smart and curious pup who learns quickly, especially when treats or belly rubs are involved. He is already making great progress with house training and does well as long as he goes outside regularly. At night, he sleeps soundly in his dog bed and is starting to master leash-walking. Kirby is also comfortable in his crate and behaves well while inside, though he would be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the time. He absolutely loves toys—especially chew toys since he is still in his teething stage—so his new family should be prepared to keep their shoes out of reach!

Kirby is a social pup who gets along well with other dogs and is friendly toward cats. He has not been around children yet, but his sweet and friendly nature suggests he would be happy to make new friends. One of his favorite things is spending time outdoors, whether chasing squirrels, collecting sticks, or just frolicking in the grass. Because of his love for outdoor play, a fenced yard or access to a nearby park would be ideal for him. He loves food – he devours his breakfast and supper – and is highly treat-motivated, which is a big help for teaching him good habits. Belly rubs also work as an incentive for Kirby to be the best boy he can be. Kirby is making good progress with leash-walking, is a happy car-rider and mastered going up and down stairs on his first try.

Kirby is in excellent health, neutered, and up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and flea/tick preventatives. He would thrive in a home where he gets plenty of love and attention, either with another playful dog or as the center of his new family’s world. His perfect adopter would be someone who enjoys spending time at home, has a safe outdoor space for him to explore, and is ready to shower him with affection.
