Timmie in Woodland Hills, CA

Timmie is a handsome Tricolor fellow looking for a lap or a big easy chair to call his own. His birthday is October 30, 2014. Timmie has the energy and endurance of a younger pup, and enjoys adventure in his day.

Timmie did have a family until recently. From his puppyhood, he was part of a family, but his Mom passed and his Dad became forgetful when it came to Timmie’s care. A concerned granddaughter stepped in, and asked Cavalier Rescue USA to help find Timmie the perfect forever home.

Timmie would like to have a companion to keep him active and include him on outings. He is easygoing and friendly with the two Cavaliers and Tibetan Spaniel in his foster home. He was confused for a few days when he arrived, but adapted to the routines and the new environment once he felt secure.

To gain potty reliability, Timmie should be supervised in a new home until he settles in and learns a different routine. He will need to be escorted out regularly first thing in the morning, during the day, after meals and before retiring at night.

At naptime, you will most likely find Timmie in a chair in the kitchen where he settles in after mealtimes while you are busy working. He likes the big easy chair in the living room for TV time, and quietly looking out the window seat in the office watching the neighborhood. Timmie loves simple things: a treat, a walk to the park, a back scratch, a belly rub, and riding in the car all bring Timmie joy.

Timmie is current on core vaccinations and is microchipped. He was treated for skin and ear issues while in foster care. He may need continued maintenance with a low-dose of allergy medication. Timmie is spry, and at an ideal weight for his physique.

Timmie’s foster Mom says he is somewhat hearing impaired, but does hear the louder voices. He is not a barker, and is confident being left on his own if you leave for errands. He will most likely nap for the time you are gone and will be happy to see you return.

Timmie will be a faithful and loyal companion in a short time once you gain his trust.
