Aliyah in Falls Church, VA

Aliyah is a friendly 12-year-old tricolor Cavalier that came into rescue as an owner surrender and through no fault of her own. She is looking for her forever home to live out the rest of her golden years.

Aliyah is a snuggle bug and is most comfortable when she is in the same room as her foster mom. She is friendly to all new people and dogs. She is great with kids and enjoys the company of other dogs. Aliyah lived with two Cavalier brothers previously and she quickly fit in with her foster Cavalier brothers. She would do well in a home with other dogs or as a solo pup.

Aliyah weighs 18-pounds and is in excellent health for her age. She has a healthy heart and her senior bloodwork came back perfectly normal. Her vaccines are up to date and she will be receiving dental care before going to her forever home. She takes a daily pro/pre-biotic supplement to support her digestive system.

Aliyah is a mature, calm dog but she also likes to play with kids and chase toys. She rarely barks except to signal when she wants to go outside to the bathroom. She walks well on a leash, does not require long walks, and stays close to her people at all times.

Although she does need to go outside to do her business approximately every four hours during the day, she sleeps through the night without needing a bathroom break. Aliyah would do best with someone who can be with her during the day.
