Amelia in Plymouth, MA

Meet Amelia! Amelia is a female tricolor Cavalier who is the epitome of joy.

She came to rescue from a breeding facility and is said to be around 6-8 years old. (She presents as more on the lower end of the age scale.)

Amelia is very sweet! She is a cuddle bug who loves to get belly rubs. She is not shy with her people, and will happily run up for snuggles. She is great with both kids and other dogs, but hasn’t been tested with cats.

Amelia loves to be outside. She enjoys a run and will also go for walks. A home with a secure fence is preferred for her, as she did not have the opportunity to run freely and explore in her past life.

She has done extremely well with house training, having had only one accident during her stay at her foster home.

Amelia likes having another Cavalier, or another breed of dog of  similar size and temperament, in the household. Amelia loves having her people home. She would thrive in a household where someone is at home most of the day.

Amelia has been fully vetted and is up to date on her immunizations and preventatives. She does have a grade 4 heart murmur and is now on medication. She will require yearly echocardiograms to manage this condition. The vet did not feel she needed a dental cleaning at this time. (Her teeth should be re-checked in 6-12 months.)

Amelia is scheduled to be spayed on October 21st, and will be ready to go to her forever home once recovered.

Amelia is a truly special girl who will bring love and joy wherever she goes. She is happy, loving and devoted.
