Meet Buddy, a charming 2 year-old Cavalier-Dachshund mix born 11/15/2022 who’s bursting with sweetness and eager to find his forever home! Tipping the scales at 14 pounds, with a silky tricolored coat and expressive eyes, he’s the perfect pal for anyone wanting a compact, lovable companion.

Buddy ended up in foster care due to a shift in his previous owner’s circumstances, but he’s adapted with ease and is ready to lavish affection on a new family. He’s completely house-trained and blends relaxed snuggle time with spurts of playful energy. Whether he’s tossing around his toys, chasing after a ball in a game of fetch, or showing off his knack for basic commands, Buddy proves he’s both fun and attentive.

Buddy’s a devoted fan of his foster mom, always keeping her in view. Come evening, he’s happy to settle down at the edge of the couch or recliner for some quality cuddle time, and during work hours, he dozes peacefully in a bed near her desk.

He’s a pro at getting along with his foster siblings, dogs and cats alike, though he’d thrive just as well as your sole sidekick. A fenced yard would be ideal, offering him space to stretch his legs and indulge in the occasional zoomies.
