Daisy and Frannie in Pittsburg, CA

We have all heard of famous TV & movie best gal pals like Lucy & Ethel, Laverne & Shirley and Thelma & Louise; now meet bonded, best friends forever, Daisy and Francesca (Frannie)! This darling duo are just as entertaining as their famous friends and twice as cute! They are both heart healthy, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. They just had dentals and now have sparkly clean teeth.

Daisy is a lovely, 7 year old (10/9/2017), tricolor Cavalier weighing 15 pounds. Daisy is a very affectionate girl that is full of love and kisses. We think she may be a bit hard of hearing but she just might have selective hearing! Daisy is a smaller cavalier but the dogs were free fed before and she got a little chubby. We have been working on her eating habits and now are doing controlled amounts for breakfast and dinner. She is now at her perfect weight. Daisy will go outside to potty if let outside every few hours.

Francesca (Frannie) is an adorable, tiny, teacup Shih Tzu weighing 8 pounds. She is also 7 years old (10/11/2017). Frannie has a cute little strut and is the boss of this pair! Frannie will mostly go outside but she was taught to use a piddle pad that is still available but we are working on more outside trips.

These sweet girls came into rescue when their mom passed away and the rest of the family didn’t feel they could give them the time and companionship they needed. They are very much Velcro dogs and want to be near their family always. They will follow you from room to room and hop into your lap when you sit down! They sleep together in a crate but would really love to join you in the big bed. They love walks and are good on a leash. They grew up with cats and don’t bother them.

Their ideal home would be with someone who works from home or a retired family so they aren’t alone very much. A one level home with easy access to the back yard will be perfect for them. They also need to have a fenced back yard and should be taken out every few hours to perfect their potty habits.
