Holly in Danville, IL

Holly is the sweetest little gem! She is a happy, well-adjusted, dainty little lady whose favorites are cuddling and chasing squirrels. Whoever adopts Holly is the luckiest human ever! She is a 4-year-old Blenheim Cavalier that came to Cavalier Rescue USA from a commercial breeding facility after having a c-section and then not getting pregnant again for a year.

I will let Holly tell you more about herself!

I love having other dogs in my foster home to play with and to show me the way. I am looking for a home with a mom or dad who stays home most of the time with another gentle dog sibling to make me feel welcome. I love cuddling with my human or foster siblings. I also love playing with toys, my foster siblings have shown me how much fun they are!

Active children startle me, so I would be happiest in a calm home without young children. But I am already accustomed to the general sounds of a human household: television, vacuum cleaner, etc and do fine with those. If you want a dog for jogging, I am not your girl. I prefer pillows, sofas, and warm laps with lots of love…with a physically fenced yard for chasing squirrels. When I am not being a couch potato I do love to chase squirrels and promise to keep your yard critter free!

My foster mom keeps telling me how precious I am and that she would adopt me herself if she did not already have three dog kids. I am curious and happy, happy, happy!

My favorites are: cuddling, chasing squirrels, cuddling, dinnertime…did I say cuddling and squirrels?

Since coming to Cavalier Rescue USA I have been spayed, had a much needed dental where I lost 18 teeth but am feeling much better now. I am up to date on my vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm preventatives.
