Maggie in Fort Collins, CO

Just Adopted! Here is Maggie with her forever family!

If you are looking for a sweet, cuddly, loving dog then Maggie is the dog for you! She is 10 months old and has a lot of fun to share. She loves toys, playing, and napping in your lap. She is a girl who just wants to please you!

Maggie originally came from a pet store. She had kennel cough which was followed with a lung infection. She has been treated with antibiotics for a cough during her foster stay. Per her radiologic report, she could be susceptible to future lung infections due to her anatomy and she may need antibiotic treatment from time to time. Maggie has a mild collapsing trachea, which means she should be walked with a harness instead of a collar.

In addition to the kennel cough/lung issues, she had diarrhea episodes from eating random, small items left on the ground. The frequent vet visits were becoming too expensive for her owners so the difficult decision was made to let rescue sort out her health issues. She is curious about everything, so it is important to be aware of her surroundings so that she is safe. Otherwise, she is a happy, healthy pup! Maggie is up to date on her vaccinations. While in foster care, she was spayed and micro-chipped.

Her leash skills are coming along, but can use some more work. She is great at being bathed and brushed, she will even lift her paw for you!

Maggie would like a home to provide love and plenty of toys! She would enjoy another friendly, small dog to play with as well as attention from her person/people.
