Here is Lark with her new mom and brother Henry…

Lark is an adorable Ruby female puppy born 2/21/24 that has a soft, beautiful white chest and soft coat. Lark is exceptionally sweet and lovable with adorable eyes and a very happy nature. Lark is very smart, responds well to guidance, and learns quickly. She loves everyone that she meets and enjoys being close to her foster family members. She is in love with her foster brother and respects his boundaries, and is respectfully relentless when trying to make her foster cat sister fall in love with her.  

Lark loves to be loved on, and is eager to please. She enjoys being included in new experiences – everything is a new experience to her! She is particularly thrilled by the vacuum, family dinner time, and anything you are doing on the floor. She loves to play tug of war, snuggle with her stuffed animals and will gladly entertain herself with chew toys. As a puppy, she will also entertain herself with a shoe or corner of a cardboard box so gentle guidance is needed.  

Lark feels quite at home in her crate. She often puts herself down for a midday nap in her open crate, and always is the first to settle in for bed at night. She is a great sleeper, does not disturb anyone in the middle of the night unless it’s an emergency, and is always ready to jump into the routine in the morning around 7am. She is learning how to signal to go outside to potty. She has had a few accidents but definitely understands that she needs to go outside and does very well on a schedule, going outside every few hours. She does well on a leash and enjoys meeting new dog friends. She “sits” for dinnertime and for treats, and truly wants to make you happy.  

Lark eats a heaping 1/3 cup dry dog food twice a day with healthy chews and treats throughout the day. She eats in the kitchen with her foster brother and they go outside to potty immediately after. Lark is a healthy, happy pup.  

We are happy to note that Lark has just been adopted and is very happy in her new home!
