Little Bear in Evanston, IL

JUST ADOPTED!

Here is the pup with his new mom…

Big love in a tiny package! This is the sweetest Black and Tan Cavalier boy named Little Bear, also known as, Pee Wee, Peanut, and Gummy Bear after losing 14 teeth!

Bear is the most loving little guy who came from a breeding situation. He arrived with a severe ear infection and a mouthful of rotting teeth. Although he was in a lot of pain, he still wagged his tail and snuggled like a pro.

Bear is a tiny 12 pound Cavalier with a huge personality. He puts the “V” in velcro and is happiest snuggled right next to his humans. Bear is not very interested in the outdoors, so he would be happy in an apartment or condo.

Bear is still working on potty training and he needs someone home most of the day to be consistent in this training. A belly band would be useful during this time. He may have been left outdoors in his prior life and therefore his disinterest in being outside.

Bear would really love sleeping in the big comfy bed with his forever family once fully trained. In addition, car rides are a thrill for Bear! He settles down nicely and is calm in the car.

Since coming to Cavalier Rescue USA, Bear has been neutered, had his ear infections treated, had a dental where he lost 14 teeth (still eats just fine!), brought up to date on his vaccines, and preventatives.

He does well with the dogs in his foster home and should be good with kids. He is truly a loving, velcro Cavalier!

If you can provide Little Bear’s forever home, please submit an adoption application(if you haven’t already) and then email Meg Hutson Eisenmenger at Cavalierrescuemeg@gmail.com so she knows of your interest.
