Millie in Mechanicsburg, PA

Update 1-27-25: We think we have a good match for this pup so aren’t taking more applications for now.

Millie is a pretty little Blenheim girl that came into rescue after her family purchased her from a pet store and quickly learned that a puppy needed more time and training than they realized.

During her time in foster care, Millie has met dogs of all ages and sizes, and does well with everyone. She is a playful puppy, but is respectful of older dogs in the house. She has met a dog-friendly cat and did well with him.

Millie is up to date on her vaccines, but will need to be spayed when she is a bit older. She is currently weighs about 9 lbs. We do not think she will be a big Cavalier but she is a little on the taller side for her age.

Since Millie is still young she is still working on housetraining but is pretty reliable if she is taken out on a regular schedule. She is still working on her basic manners and would do well if her adoptive family continued her training. Millie is a fairly calm puppy and we think she is a good candidate for pet therapy in the future.

Millie loves to play with toys and loves to wrestle and chase the younger dogs in the foster home. We think she would do well with a home that had another active dog in the household. Millie has met kids and did well with them, so a home with children is ok.

A fenced yard is not required, but is preferred since she does love to run around and explore outside. When not in a securely fenced area she should be leashed as she is very curious about her surroundings.
