Milo in York, PA

 

Milo is initially fearful of new people, but once he has decided you are safe, his true Cavalier personality shines! He is a little shadow, wanting to be with his foster family at all times. His foster Dad, who works from home, says Milo is a great partner in crime. Milo splits his days evenly between snuggling on the couch in your lap and PLAYING! This boy loves playing so much he even turned eating into a game. He starts off every meal by chasing his kibble a few pieces at a time. Milo enjoys playing fetch with balls and stuffies, too. He has learned “leave it” and “wait” so the toys can be thrown over and over again.

 

 

Milo can turn to resource guarding toys and chews during playtime but the continued practice of the commands seems to be minimizing this behavior. Eliminating playing tug is also helped to reduce his guarding issues. Milo is also learning how to walk on a leash but he prefers zooming around when outside, so a fenced-in yard is a must.
