Oliver in Davis, CA

Here is Oliver with his new mom…

Oliver is a handsome 3 year old boy who was released by his breeder. This big boy is learning how to be a house pup. He has learned to do his business outside but will need to be taken out every few hours. He is friendly and submissive to his foster Cavaliers and sometimes looks ready to play. He is starting to play with toys. He likes pets and snuggles with everyone in the family but he does bark at strangers. If one dog is being petted, he wiggles his way in for his turn. 

Oliver enjoys his walks and is making progress with his leash training. He sleeps well in his kennel but would love be in the big bed. He is a big, athletic boy and can leap up there in a flash. Of course he likes his comfy blankets and soft cushions. He’s a smart pup and has learned sit and come (most times). 

He is a healthy boy. He did have giardia and whip worms when he first came in to foster care but that has been treated. He was recently neutered and had a dental with 8 teeth extracted. Now his breath is minty fresh! He is up to date on all his vaccinations and was microchipped. He has been getting his monthly heart worm and flea preventatives. 

Oliver would enjoy an active family with older kids and a dog companion to show him the ropes. He hasn’t met any kitties yet but doesn’t show any prey drive so a cat friend might be okay.

Most of all he needs a family who would continue his socialization and training and shower him with love. He is a special boy with so much potential. Will you be the lucky family to adopt him?
