Oreo in Bellbrook, OH
Oreo is a lovable and energetic 10-month-old black and white puppy born on February 14, 2024. He loves to snuggle and play. He came to Cavalier Rescue USA as an owner surrender because his former owners felt an active family would be a better fit.
Oreo loves to play with his foster Cavalier brothers and kids, running around the yard and then snuggling up for a good snooze on the couch or bed. He will keep you entertained with his adorable face and playful attitude. He will also keep you on your toes as he chews about anything he can find but will give you lots and lots of kisses and snuggles to make up for it.
Oreo loves playing with children and other dogs but can be timid when he first meets you. When he feels comfortable around you, in true Cavalier style, he becomes a Velcro dog and will constantly stay by your side and loves to snuggle by your feet while you work. He can also be a bit skittish, so he needs lots of love and encouragement.
Oreo is working on potty training and does well when he’s let out frequently, especially since he was used to running around outside most of the time. Oreo would do well in a home that has someone at home all day but lots of activity and the ability to run free in a big yard with other dogs and kids. He gets along with cats, too.
Oreo does walk well on a leash but loves to meet and greet everyone he encounters. He is crate-trained but will howl when you leave as he has a bit of separation anxiety.
Oreo has a clean bill of health, is up to date on his vaccines, and is neutered and microchipped. He weighs 19.6 lbs.
Most of all, Oreo has a heart full of love to give to the right family. See him in action: Oreo
