Otis and Clayton in Citrus Heights, CA

Double your pleasure and double your fun! You’ve heard of these famous duos; Butch and Sundance, Abbott and Costello, Bert and Earnie, Tom and Jerry. Well, now we have Otis and Clayton!

These beautiful tricolor boys are both 2 and a half and are both very healthy with glossy coats. While they aren’t brothers, they are very special bonded buddies that need to stay together. They were recently surrendered by a breeder and have been together all their lives. They were very shy and timid when they first came into rescue and went to separate foster homes. But when we saw their transformations when they got together we knew they need to stay together forever.

Otis, with his cute freckled nose is a bit bigger at a solid 20 pounds. He’s also a bit more outgoing and a bit barkier than quiet little Clayton.

16 pound Clayton is sweet and sensitive, getting lots of confidence from his best buddy Otis. They love to chase each other, fetch and play wrestle mania!

Both boys have been recently neutered and are up to date on their shots with sparkly clean, white teeth. They were both treated for whip worms when they first came into rescue. They are now housetrained pros when let out every few hours!

They love playing and snuggling with each other and get along well with their foster siblings. They are learning about leashes and love walks. They sleep quietly in a crate, together of course, but would love to be invited into the big bed!

These boys are full of love and are just waiting for someone to adore them. They need a safe and quiet home to trust, play and learn what it means to be loved instead of in a pen with a bunch of other dogs. You’ll need to be a dog experienced family that’s active and committed to completing their training that will also help their confidence. Unfortunately, we are only considering homes that don’t have small children since they are afraid of loud noises and activity. They are also cat chasers so no cats either.

They require a secure, fenced backyard & a yard preferably without a pool. They need a grass area to run and play which is a favorite activity. A home with few alone hours, retired, working from home or a stay at home folks would be ideal for these guys.
