Sophia & Loretta in Sausalito, CA

These sweet, little Italian-named girls, Sophia and Loretta, will capture your heart from the moment you meet them. They are tricolored bonded sisters who are approximately four years old. They came from a breeder surrender situation. They are healthy, heart clear, spayed and recently had a dental cleaning.  

Loretta and Sophia’s temperaments are very sweet and each has their own unique personality. Loretta weighs 13 lbs and is very cautious and reserved but very loving and gentle. 

Sophia weighs 11 lbs and is curious and spunky.

They are protective of one another and love to snuggle together in the same crate.  They have been invited to be on the couch and bed for visits. Sophia has accepted the invitation but Loretta is more comfortable in her crate as an observer.  

They both require patience and moving slowly when offering physical touch.  They have a foster Cavalier “Grandma” who is teaching them the finer points of being a royal Cavalier and they are learning lots from her. Loretta and Sophia love their yard time and napping in the sun. 

The girls have been purposefully introduced to lots of people while in foster care and are cautious, but curious. They are still learning how to walk on a leash. They have not been cat tested. They did have a few potty accidents when they first arrived at their foster home but quickly learned to go outside. The girls have regular access to the backyard and use it to take care of their business. 

The best forever home for Loretta and Sophia is with someone who is home the majority of the time with the patience to go slowly with their transition into living in a family unit. They would most likely do well with another dog and older, respectful children, but will require patience as they transition.
